Even when the start time field was empty, changing its value changes the value of end time. Changing start time shouldn’t affect end time, if the previous value of the field was empty. On our site both fields are loaded as empty and users occasionally fill in end time first only to get baffled by it getting changed after entering the start time.

Changing end time based on start time change is understandable when the previous start time was non-empty. When checking for automatically adjusting

    Steps to repeat on http://demo.wp-events-plugin.com/submit-your-event/:

    1. Set any value to the end time, eg. 02:00 AM.

    2. Empty the start time field and click somewhere else on the page. On our site it’s empty upon loading the page, in which case this step isn’t needed.

    3. Set any value to the start time, eg. 12:30 AM.

    4. End time is automatically changed.
