WebSite WipeOut – zero posts zero pages

inquiringminds.cc established three years no major problems until to days ago.

Following a failed publication of an article which hung, the next login showed zero posts and zero pages.

The public view of the website showed only the home page banner and the message not found.

My site challenges traditional thinking on various subjects and although at first I opted to treat this as a tech prob with the contributor’s email I am now suspecting a malicious attack.

Has anyone experienced the same or similar?

What should I do before restoring from a backup?

Can’t seem to dump the 24k spam queue.

Oh! and while I’m here asking for help, thank goodness for WordPress and all those who support the phenomena. Brilliant.
