Google Speed Service

Have wordpress site trying to configure for Google Speed Service. My site is set up for bare domain example.com. Having issues getting redirect to http://www.example.com. Can some one lead me to a thread that might help with this issue. Wondering if I am going to have to change my site in settings to http://www.example.com. Tried google help as well as bluehost. They are no help.
