Storefront Query

Hi – I am wanting to create a storefront that would showcase artists work.

Artists should be able to signup and manage their own artwork. I would also like each artist to have a profile page that gives a short bio on themselves – this too would be managed by themselves.

Is there a plugin that would be able to manage this. Free would be better (but would consider paying if the price was not too steep!) as it is to promote artists within our community at no charge.

Please could anyone assist – I am new to WordPress.
