I searched for this question and cannot find it. I have two blogs, one using a modified Kubrick, which I was able ot remove the “no comments” notice quite easily by editing the code of the page.

I have a new blog that uses 3K2, a modified version of K2, three column. Everything works fine except I cannot figure out how to remove the “0 comments” and “edit this entry” at the top of each post. I don’t need comments so I don’t allow them but it still has that text and a little icon. Also I want to get rid of the “edit this.”

I’ve tried removing the “edit_this_entry” php code in a few of the pages, but it was still there so I put it back, not wanting to mess anything up.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks! Chad

Look in your template files: single.php, index.php, archive.php and search.php.

Remove the relevant code from there.

BTW, the edit link only shows up when you are logged in as admin, and I actually find it quite useful.
