    Hi,
    I have used Contact form 7 and download monitor to generate IDs and put those in the format stated by Email Before Download ([email-download download_id=”X” contact_form_id=”Y”]) in the bottom of my post below the text on the page. The form is showing up and I can enter information, but I am getting this error message:

    Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.
    Do you have any ideas as to why this might not be working?

    I am eventually trying to make it so people can download the link to the Editorial Calendar on there currently by submitting an email, which will pop up or lead them to be able to download the page. (I will eventually delete the current Editorial Calendar link).
    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi,

    A couple of visitors to my site http://vipasi.com have reported a similar error “Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.”, when downloading documents from http://vipasi.com/resource-center/.

    Not sure, on how to go about resolving it. Would greatly appreciate assistance.

    Hi sover and ngravi,

    Thank you for your interest in our plugin. I would ensure that Contact Form 7 is working properly before implementing Email Before Download. It seems as though the issue is with CF7. Please ensure that it works on its own and let us know if you are still having difficulties.

    Hi,

    i have the same problem with my wordpress page. I use CF7 and WordPress Download Monitor. The Download Monitor is maybe the reason because there is no longer any developer support and updates.
    Does anybody have another option then Download Monitor?
