Site map showing 404?

Quick question,

I installed the plugin yesterday and in the Right Now stats I’m seeing the Googlebot attempting to get to /sitemap.xml but to the left in your stats it’s showing as a 404 error. If I go to my domain /sitemap.xml it’s there.

Is there a way to confirm that Googlebot did see my sitemap? Is this normal behavior?
