How to use tags???

Because the new version has broken the search engine add on I’m looking at organising my 3500 images differently.

I’m looking at tags but i can’t find a solution which really does what i need. I’m certain I’m not the only one either who needs to be able to organise their images.

I need to be able to tag images i.e. {red, car, ford} and then dynamically display a page with thumbnails of images which contain all these tags (exclude any image which don’t contain all 3 of these tags)

Please tell me I’m missing something as I’ve read all the guides and can’t figure it out.
