theme focused on website

    I’m a brand new WP user trying to build a website with multilevel menus, but the themes i’ve examined are all focused on building blogs. Others have asked for website-oriented themes in this forum and were told that they could customize the blog-oriented themes, but all those inquiries were at least a couple of years old. I’m hoping that by now there are website oriented themes that don’t require all that customizing.

    Pretty much all themes do have blog options, but you can easily use any WP theme for non-blog websites – just use static pages (not posts) –

    Turn off comments –

    Under Settings > Discussion uncheck “allow comments”
    For each page, click on quick edit – uncheck “allow comments”

    Many thanks, WPyogi, for your help and encouragement of a rank beginner. That link gave me an understanding of static pages that was the big clue that i was missing.
