  • Try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    – running the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php

Is there any other way to revert the update and go back to 3.5

Using an outdated version of WP is not recommended at all – as it’s a security risk.

That’s an problem with that plugin: Cluv-premium – have you asked the developer/vendor about it?

You can deactivate the plugins by renaming that plugin in the plugins folder :

    wp-content
        plugins
           Cluv-premiumHOLD

Yes I have deactivated it. The premium version was gifted to me from my friend and I am not able to access to the updated version. So now I have decided to revert back to the earlier version of wordpress. Is there any way to go back to the earlier version of wordpress?

Why would you want to risk being hacked? Perhaps the free version of Comment Luv will suffice if you don’t want to pay for it.
