Osvaldas – thanks for the note about the plugin conflict. Can you tell us:

    1) What issue was being caused by the plugin conflict?
    2) Any more details about the Http error you were seeing? Also, can you try different and/or smaller images and confirm that you can’t upload ANY images, not just having the issue with certain ones.

    Thank,
    Erick

    Sure!

    1) Problem is when i click NextGEN Gallery – Attach to Post button in edit page screen. I get: Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_current_screen() in C:\Program Files (x86)\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\event-organiser\includes\event-organiser-register.php on line 524. If i disable event organiser, it works. With previous NextGEN version button was working with event organiser turned on.

    2) And yes, tried with different sizes images, always getting Http error. Not sure if that could be related, but i am testing wordpress in my local machine, not server.

    Thanks,
    Osvaldas

I also cannot upload files after updating the plugin. I tried to roll back to the previous version of NextGen following the developer’s instructions (because it does conflict with the Event Organizer plugin) and crashed the site. The crash message was similar to the one above: Fatal error: Call to undefined function eventorganiser_is_event_query() in /var/www/education/wp-content/plugins/event-organiser-pro/includes/user-bookings.php on line 144. Luckily this is on the development server, but we will need to roll back to the previous version of NextGen on the production server due to the conflicts with Event Organizer. I’d appreciate any help you can provide.

I too can’t upload photos and get the http error. I have the newest update as I just installed it.

After upgrading I can create new galleries, but (on a Linux server) the new directories are owned by httpd:httpd – so therefore I am unable to add images to these directories

To add to my earlier comment – prior to trying to roll back the version, I was able to upload image files to the gallery, but could not insert them in a page or post. I received a message similar to Osvaldas: Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_current_screen() in /var/www/education/wp-content/plugins/event-organiser/includes/event-organiser-register.php on line 524.

Same here after updating I can’t upload files, I get Error: File too large, everything else seems to work correctly though
