Hey,

I was wandering how I can give a field in the booking form a value? What I’d like to do is have an ‘affiliate’ use a link through to the site and then when the user buys the ticket through their link using a unique ID it will just add the unique ID into the booking form.

I’ve created an ‘affiliate’ field in the booking form, but how could I get a string into that field?

Hiya,

I suspect your best option would be to add some custom jQuery to detect the affiliate ID in the URL and add it to the form field automatically.

Thanks – thats what I thought – what code would I need to use? 🙂 I understand it’s beyond the realms of your support but a pointer would be really appreciated!

To get the url you can use

window.location;

Then you’d need to do something like this to add a field to the form:
