I’m getting a funny error every time I post. Anything that might be causing this? It started popping up after I moved my blog from the root directory to a subdirectory but everything else seems to be fine. It posts the post, it just…brings up an error afterwards.

Something went wrong – 153 : Incorrect time value: Your most recent journal entry is dated 2006-05-30 18:25, but you’re trying to post one at 2006-05-30 13:11 without the backdate option turned on. Please check your computer’s clock. Or, if you really mean to post in the past, use the backdate option.

  • Sure you’re not using Movable Type? That’s not a WordPress error message.

Yes, I’m definitely using WP. Here’s the URL: http://allison.operaglasses.org/blog/.

Hmm, ask your host if they just changed the time on their servers, that might be the problem.

Do you have any plugins installed? That really doesn’t sound like any wordpress error I’ve ever heard. What other stuff do you have running on your site?

Congratulations, you have an intriguing problem 🙂

Well, I’ve got a good few plugins running but the newest and only one having to do with posts themselves is the LiveJournal crossposter. It is, however, posting to my LJ successfully as well.

It must have something to do with that plugin, because that error that you mentioned is a LiveJournal error. That’s why I thought it might have to do with Movable Type.

Ohhhh, okay. That makes sense. I’ll double-check the configuration.

EDIT: OK, not sure what the problem was, but it’s working now! thanks muchly for your time, comments, and help!

That is the crossposter. If you can read that page (I really REALLY hate green on black!), it says to upgrade the crossposter if you haven’t done so already. 🙂
