Incorrect Table is displaying

    I had a four column table with the short code id of [table id=2 /]. I copied then renamed and edited it into a new three column table. I saved the new (and edited) table and have an id of [table id=3 /].

    I replaced the edited table on a WordPress page at:
    http://sociallysavvykids.com/intro-to-socially-savvy-kids/

    When I am logged into the WordPress account I see the correct table (id-3). If I am NOT logged in as an admin I see the id=2 version of the table.

    I have carefully checked both the Visual and Text (HTML) versions of the page and can find no reference to table id=2 at all. (I even did a text search for a hidden something with no results.

    This is not a casche issue as I have tested it on different computers with the same result. that is: if logged in I see the new Table id=3
    If I am not logged in I see the original Table id=2

    How can I get the correct table to show up?

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Now, I’m confused. When I go to the link you posted (and of course I’m not logged-in), I can see one TablePress table, and according to the HTML source code, that has the ID 3, which is the correct/intended one, right?
    Are you sure that this is not a local caching issue?

    Yes I am quite sure it is not a caching issue.
    The original table has four columns and can be seen at:
    Table 2 (original table)
    http://sociallysavvykids.com/membership/
    Table 2 should have four columns of X and Check marks.
    Table 3
    http://sociallysavvykids.com/intro-to-socially-savvy-kids/
    Table 3 should have two columns of X and Check marks.
    If you can give me an email address to respond to I can give you a temporary admin password.

    If logged in as an admin I see one table, if not logged in I see the older version.

    I have viewed this page on different machines and different browsers with the same result.

    Hi,

    nope, table 3 has four columns full of X and check marks at http://sociallysavvykids.com/intro-to-socially-savvy-kids/.
    Are you sure that the “Edit” screen of table 3 only has those two columns of X and check marks?

    But yes, it might be the best idea, if I take a direct look at this. Please send me the info to the temporary account via email. You can find the address in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”.

    The “Edit” screen of table 3 with two columns had the correct information. When I then logged out and refreshed that same page Table 2 appeared with four columns. I sent an email to noreply@wordpress.org but have little hope it will actually get to you. What is an email that I can send you the log in? I can create a temporary log in for you. That might be the quickest solution.

    If you require payment for this support I am not opposed to that. I VERY much appreciate your willingness to support your product.

    Hi,

    just for everybody following this: I’ve worked on this directly with Jeff, and as it turns out, there seems to be a caching problem indeed, namely some problem with the “Object Caching” in the “W3 Total Cache” plugin.
    We fixed this by turning of the internal TablePress caching, so that everything is working again now 🙂
