Hi, can you please provide a link to your website? The only “continue reading” button is used on the first post on the front page, which is either your latest post, or your latest featured/sticky post if you’re using featured/sticky posts.
Thanks!
You have to assign a link to the page with the content for ‘continue reading’. Check your themes options – you may find option to enter the id of the page you wish to use for this button.
Which theme you are working with would be helpful – hope this helps.
Let me know if you still have problems

I am using “Expound”. The theme is great and it seems this problem just recently occurred. I have not set any featured/sticky posts, but the “continue reading” button on my latest post is linked to a previous post. I don’t see any options to change the link either.
Update on the problem: The continue reading button is linked to the 5th oldest post in line. I just added a new post and the link changed, but it’s still wrong. Please let me know if this is a problem on my end. Thank you.
Hi. It doesn’t look like a problem with the theme. Can you please try and disable all your plugins and see if the problem still persists? Thanks!
A plugin was the issue. Working perfectly now. Thanks Konstantin!
You’re welcome. Glad you sorted it out!
