"after form is submitted" action

    I have to do some additional tasks after form is submitted.
    After submitting form user would be able to download a document from given link.
    So, how to achieve this? Is there some “after form is submitted” action? Maybe I can edit some custom.js script?

    P.S. I am just learning WP (I am familiar with php, jquery).
