filter form data by attributes

Hello I was wondering if there is a way to filter the form data by its attributes? e.g. get all the form data submitted by a certain user.

I also peeked in the source to find out how I could best implement such a functionality. Of course I could write templates, that filter the form data. It would be more elegant however if this could be done more generically, thus if I could pass the filter argruments in the shortcode.

I would be grateful if somebody could point me in the right direction.
