Hi,
thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.
I’m not sure why this happens on your site, but this should work:
.tablepress thead th,
.tablepress tfoot th {
background-color: #00c8bd !important;
}
Regards,
Tobiaas
Thanks for the quick reply – I have tried with !important but it still isn’t working… any other ideas?
Hi,
ok, then there’s something going on with the JS/CSS minification that you are using from another plugin (W3 Total Cache?).
Could it be that that cache is not updated? Can you clear that cache manually?
Regards,
Tobias
Yes, I am using W3 Total Cache. I’ve cleared the cache manually now: database; object; minify; general and page. Still not working though. Could I be doing something else wrong?
Hi,
ok, thanks. Can you then please turn off the minification temporarily, so that we can investigate if the CSS works without minification/concatenation?
Regards,
Tobias
yes! it works when I turn off minification.
Hi,
yes, I can confirm that. Great 🙂 So, now, please re-activate minification again, and clear all caches again.
Regards,
Tobias
seems to be working perfectly!
Will this be an issue when I change the custom CSS in future (or for other tables)?
Hi,
great 🙂
Good question… I can only suggest that you try. From what I can see, it might be possible that W3 Total Cache is not recognizing that TablePress’s Custom CSS file was updated (it would then have to clear the minification and the page cache). Thus, it might be necessary to you perform this cache clearing manually after editing the “Custom CSS” in TablePress.
Regards,
Tobias
Ok, I can answer the question – I do need to go through that process each time. But glad it is sorted nonetheless.
Fabulous plugin and great help from you – thanks!
Hi,
ah, that’s unfortunate. Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, there’s nothing I can do about this in TablePress. 🙁
Best wishes,
Tobias
P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
