Newbie trying to learn WordPress – Help required

Hi guys,

I am completely new to WordPress and have been playing about with it for a week or so. I am looking to setup a online gadget store and (for now) using the Mystile theme.

I am trying to get the size and position of the home page slider to fit in with the page template but i am struggling with this.

The home page template is set to “Full Width” and i am using the soliloquy plugin for the slider.
