    Hi

I had an email from my host today telling me they disabled my WordPress blog. This is what they had to say

“Due to a large number PHP processes spawning just from your site, we had to temporarily disable the /blog folder by renaming it. Whenever a PHP process is spawned, it should close shortly thereafter.

In this case, the PHP processes were spawned and never released, thus building up many processes that would not close and severely hindered the ability for our server to process any other requests. In a shared environment, this is not acceptable and will need to be addressed as your site caused severe problems in resource usage.

The scripts that appear to be causing this issue are:

    [ID]: 5932 (php.exe) [Parent: 2380] [User: \]
    [cmd]: c:\php\php.exe D:\inetpub\xxxx\blog\index.php
    Mem: 3376k VMem: 40600k PageFaults: 3991
    [Threads: 2] [Reads: 154] [Writes: 4] [Other: 500] [Hndls: 58]

    [ID]: 7364 (php.exe) [Parent: 2380] [User: WEBA16\IUSR_xxx.xxx.xx.x]
    [cmd]: c:\php\php.exe D:\inetpub\xxxx\blog\index.php
    Mem: 4800k VMem: 40600k PageFaults: 3953
    [Threads: 2] [Reads: 148] [Writes: 4] [Other: 443] [Hndls: 58]”

I have no idea if this information is bad, good or normal and hoped someone would be able to help.

PHP runs via IIS in my case.

    Regards, ADC
