adding previous site to new laptop

    I had everything set up and running smoothly on my ftp(filezilla) and wp site on an old G5 that quit on me and now I need to add everything to my new laptop. Where should I start? It’s been a while. I forget how to set up my ftp and should I just follow the 5 minute install again? Will that mess things up? I can’t even remember how to access my admin page and dashboard. Pathetic.. I know. Help?

    Is your site on a hosted server (i.e. on the internet)? If so, you don’t need to install WP on your laptop at all. For FTP, just download Filezilla and then you’ll need to get the FTP info from your hosting company.

    sweet.. I was almost there, I had my host wrong.. now about getting to my admin page..
    what is it yoursite.com/wp_admin or something?
