Image Overlapping over bottom Menu

Hi,

I am trying to use display images (multiple) in the content section. But when I set the float parameter of the images as left the image float over the bottom menu. I am working on a local server. But setting the float parameter to none displays the images one below the other and does not overlap with the bottom menu.
Any clues on how do i solve the problem.
