updraft backup saves non-regular .zip files ?

    Hi ciapistess,

    You must be having a corrupt zip file. The ones written by UpdraftPlus are written by PHP’s built-in zip-file handler, which writes out normal zip files.

    P.S. Check that you’re not looking at the db.gz file instead – that’s not a zip file. That’s a compressed text file – open it in 7zip, amognst many others (7-zip.org).

    Ok, now I’ve installed on another server and now it works. Probably it was a wrong php/zip configuration.
