Recent Posts Widgets Error – No Post Found

Im having trouble with recent posts plugins.. I have tried a couple, Recent Posts Widget Extended, Flexible Posts and some more…

These plugins are supposed to show the most recent posts or post by categories on the sidebar. But the issue is that when I view the site, the plugin is not pulling any posts at all.. It just display the error message “No post found”.

Im having this issue with Flexible Posts Widget and similar plugins. Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction as to what might be causing this problem.
