• So I transferred a current site from wordpress.com to wordpress.org. Everything seems to have gone smoothly, except I’m having a problem with how my images are displaying.

It’s displaying all my images as their original file size instead of the size determined. It ignores the width and height inline. Any thoughts?

  • That would be the correct behaviour. If you need images sizes other than those defined in Settings -> Media, you need to resize them before uploading them to WordPress.

I took out width:auto in the style sheet and it seemed to have fixed the problem. Both width:auto and height:auto were set in the style sheet. Can someone tell me what the purpose of having those both set to auto is? Thanks.
