Remove 'Posted On' Link just below Title

I am using the theme SILVER SPOT
How can remove the link ‘Posted on (date) by (author)’
It appears just below the title on every page.

Additionally, I would like to remove the words ‘Comments Off’ that appear the bottom of every page.

Any help is appreciated
