Restore backup after upgrade bugs

    i have a custom theme … when i upgraded to 3.5.2 it generated various bugs … loss of functionality on dashboard … loss of plugin “add new” … loss of both editor functions

    … changed background color of sidebar WP-testimonial to black so text is illegible

    … automatically backup to gmail … how do i restore an earlier version
    … step-by-srep idiot’s guide please? … many thanks

    Hello, do you have a backup of the database and files? If so, you can overwrite the existing files and import the database. Your hosting provider may be able to help you.

    Thank you very much. The file is backed up to gmail as an *.sql.gz I shall refer to my isp as you suggest.
