It depends on how a typical boxing competition is set up and what the scoring system is. I have no knowledge about boxing so for me it’s hard to tell what kind of customization would be necessary.
It’s on my road map for a future version to also support picking a winner instead of predicting the goals. I put this wish on the list to support sports where prediction of end scores would be too difficult (e.g. sports with end scores like 72-55) and already did a quick proof of concept for this a while ago, that change was fairly easy.
But I don’t know if that is enough to make the plugin fit the boxing competition.
For boxing, there are a few ways to predict the outcome:
1. Winner by knock out and which round
2. Winner by unanimous decision (judges)
3. Winner by majority/split decision (judges)
4. Draw
5. No Contest/Disqualification, which would be the equivalent of a rain out, cancelled game.
So points would have to be assigned for correct picks in the same way as a football pool, and the “season” would be determined by how many fights you want to include.
The different options (1-5) to choose from is something I can add to the plugin. I’m thinking of making this a configurable option for admins for a future version. I’m not sure if it will make it in the next version, though.
Add-on question for round (option 1) will be possible: next version already supports to link a bonus question to a particular match.
