Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
Hey thanks but i am running this site for 4 months… and i haven’t installed any new plugin since last 2 months and neither have i updated the activated plugins….
Even if i deactivate all plugins and then activate them 1 by 1… how will i know that which PLUGIN caused me the problem?
Coz my username has already been changed form ADMIN to AKU……
Thanks for those wonderful resources….
But just look at my admin panel screenshot…
http://postimg.org/image/rd7l769hj/
it shows 5 registered users….. all with same name… should i delete those extra 4 users…. what will happen if i ll delete those 4?? Will my 116 posts will be gone?? if i remove those extra 4 users with same name and with 0 posts??
HI,
I am facing similar issues on a couple of wordpress sites.. any luck finding any solutions? My best guess is this is a automated script running from either within wordpress or the server as it happens every few days and it changes all my usernames to the same name. To gain access I have to use the forgot password link.
Any help on this will be appreciated. thanks
