• Something happened while I was working on a post that changed the dashboard around where now the options such as the post button, tags, categories, etc.

These options are now at the bottom of the post, whereas before the view had them to the right, which was perfect since while I was writing a post I could easily drag certain word to the tags box and add it like that.. now I have to go back and forth, scrolling all the way to the bottom, then back.. and it is slowing everything down.

I check all the options I could find and I’m not finding a way to get it back. I think I might have accidentally hit a key in combination with the ctrl key (but I’m not sure).. but it did happen while I was working on a post.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance

  • Have you tried logging out, clearing your browser cache and cookies or checking from a different browser?

You were right on it being an browsing issue rather than my wordpress. Tried logging in from Mozilla and it work. Cleared out my cache and am going to Chrome again.. either way I know its not an issue with my wordpress setting since it worked fine in Mozilla.

    Thanks for the help.

    hmm.. that didn’t work..
I cleared out the cache, tried it with Mozilla and it works. But went back to chrome and was having the same problem, but only with that one wordpress account. So its not Chrome because my other sites are working like before on Chrome..

I got screen shots to show what the problem is. It basically comes down to not having the option for 2 columns on that site when I am on Chrome now. Why would that be and how could I fix that.

    Here is the screen shots:

Image 1. This is the festivals website http://www.festivals4fun.com and if you go view it on Chrome you can see that the dimensions are too wide for a normal screen view; yet if you check it in Mozilla, you see it is normal. And it doesn’t show the screen option for 1 or 2 columns like I need…

    Image 2:
This shows another site of mine http://theglassmall.com on Chrome; http://festivals4fun.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/chrome-2nd-site-1024×768.jpg with the options for 1 or 2 columns. That’s how it used to be on Chrome for me.

    Image 3.
This shows how it looks like if I log into the festivals4fun site on Mozilla.. And that’s how I want it on Chrome; which is how it used to be.
On Mozilla it shows the option for 1 or 2 columns, and the view is the way I want.. Yet this is different than what I am looking at when I log in with Chrome (see Image 1). It changed though, because it used to be fine on Chrome.

How do I get it back to normal?

And I did clear the cache, I logged out, I shut the computer down, I cleaned my system and history, etc. But nothing helped fix it and I can’t find the options to change it back.
