FTP crashes when installing wordpress

    I’ve followed the instructions and when I try to upload via CuteFTP on to the web, it goes for a while then shuts down when it gets to the folder about themes (or somewhere round there). I tried deleting everything, and downloading a new wordpress from scratch but the same thing happened. Help anyone? thanks.

    I’d try another FTP program. Google up Filezilla, for example. If the problem still persists, I’d contact my host.

    SmartFTP is another good, ftp client.
