New WP version redirects to old version?

    I have a WordPress running in my root folder, and I’ve made a new installation in a new folder I call wordpress (to test a new version of the site).

    I’ve made a few pages and try to add them to my menu (their links are like this: http://www.site.com/wordpress/page) but when I click on them, I am redirected to the corresponding sites on the old version (www.site.com/page).

    Why does it do this, how can I fix it?

    – have created a new BD for the new test WP?
    – Or, have dumped the old BD into the new?
