    hi Everybody,

I was wondering how to create a multi option attribute

for example the attribute racetype: I want to choose 5 different options.

I know there are the categories, but I already use it for a different purpose.
Is it even possible to duplicate the categories and re-name it for example racetype?

    Thanks a lot, T.

thanks for the page, but I couldn’t find a solution for my problem. Nether attributes nor custom fields work out for me.

Actually I want to define 5 different options, but the user should be able to choose more than one option. Is there maybe a code, that I can include?

    Thanks a lot, T.

    Hiya,

Could you provide a bit more detail on exactly what you want to present to users, and what you want them to be able to do please?

    Thanks

    Hi there,

    okay I try it:

I want members to submit events for hiking.
On this form, I got an attribute for the difficult level in a range from 1-10.
Now I want the member to choose more than one difficult level, because the level is changing when they climb the mountain.

    For example:

Difficult levels of the Path: 3, 5, 9

Hope, I got it right 🙂

    Thanks, T.

I think if you need users to be able to select more than one option you’ll need to edit the template files to show a multiselect box.

Where do you want to add this option?

    Hey there,
    thanks for the answer.

Actually I would like to add it in the searchbar and the event-submission formular.

    Greetings, Thowe

Is this possible without editing the template?

    Greets, T.

You would still need to modify the templates in order to do that yes, especially to modify the search functionality also.

    Cheers
