Sidebar problem..

Hi guys..

Im using wordpress 2.x m a kinda new to this..
I find problem with the sidebar. okay..as for everything, links, blogroll,etc appears fine (not touching the left side of the sidebar or right side too) that looks pleasant..But if i want to put a picture exactly the width of side bar..then the problem arises..it appears a bit right from my desired location..which on the other side, goes out of the side bar. just see for yourself http://www.sg-god.com/blog (the old paper with google adsense in it)
what should i do? or wjere should i alter the code to put it in place.

Another problem is im using firefox while browsing and altering the codes so everything looks fine. but when i open the page in Internet explorer, the whole layout looks screwed-up..sidebar goes to the bottom of the page.

i need help with this also..thanx in advance.
