No – that’s rubbish. The default uploads folder is always wp-content/uploads. It does not have to be defined anywhere else unless you happen to be using a custom uploads folder.
Hi esmi, do you know what to do in this case? They said they completely restored public_html and database and that the data is there. But the media library does not list them. It’s blank.
Have you checked the wp-content/uploads folder using FTP?
Yes, and I see folders in there
And what is in those folder?
2012
2013
and then in those are:
02
03
04
05
06
And in each folder there are files
Then the uploads folder seems to have been restored. Was your database also restored?
They claim to have restored that also, yes
The website has pages and text content: http://bit.ly/13FUl2i
But no images, etc.
Can you point to a specific page that contains some of these missing inserted images?
Yes,
– the home page coin slider images are missing
– all images from photo galleries on the photos page are missing
– all music files are missing from the music page
And so on.
Can you post urls please?
Sure, Just go here: http://bit.ly/13FUl2i
Then click on photos from the menu, etc.
There are no images inserted into that page. Or in http://kalaramnath.com/galleries/variety-of-photos/
It’s because they were deleted accidentally from within Wordpres Admin. That’s my point. Data center said they did a full backup restore and the files are on the ftp in folders, but the media library in Admin is empty.
