Forgot email, user name and password

    I havn’t used my word press site in years, nor have I logged in to my website. This has become increasingly irritating. I simply want to shut down my website, because it has my name in the header.

    If anyone can help please e-mail me [email removed] I dont want to put the name of the website on the wordpress forums, as it will just add another search result to google.

    We don’t provide support by email, nor do we have any information about any self-hosted WordPress sites so posting your site would not make any difference.

    Is your site, by chance, on WordPress.COM – if so, you’re on the wrong forums – you need to go here:

    Not a problem, the name of your site is irrelevant. Open your ftp client or the file manager located in your hosts control panel by logging into your hosting account. Move, remove, repackage, or delete all of your WordPress files. Store them locally for backup or just trash them, whatever seems right for you. Your WordPress site will be no more.
    You can also delete the database from your control panel while you’re there if that’s a concern.

    [EDIT] Unless of course it’s on WordPress.com. In that case, what WPyogi said! 🙂
