Atom feed is blank

Hi everyone.. I am too new at this to ask intelligently, but on my site at http://www.jakelowen.com I can not get my Atom feed to work properly. My rss feeds are working fine:

feed://jakelowen.com/wp-rss2.php?cat=02 for example

but nothing shows up in my feed://jakelowen.com/?feed=atom

Couple questions: How important is this? Do I even need to worry about it? Is it important for technorati tags?

Second, if it is important how do I go about fixing it?
