adding flash

I’m using WP for a client project but some issues with a 3rd party video player (flash 8) are making them consider an alternate blogging system and I’d like to avoid switching.

They want each post to have a large image that opens a flash movie (the video player) when clicked. This would be fairly easy if I could make it a pop-up, but unfortunately they want a site that is 100% pop-up free. Each post will also have other short movies that should open up in the player when clicked. Is there some sort of dynamic replacement plugin that would help with this?

What they want as far as an admin page is a form that asks for a thumbnail url (for the excerpt), a large image url (which links to the flash player), and a text field to copy/paste in the flash <embed > info.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
