GeoPlaces specific options – is it possible?

Hello everyone, firstly I would like to apologize for my bad english – it’s not my native language.

I am working on one web using template GeoPlaces and I am wondering, if it is possible to use GeoPlaces’s map this way:

1. On homepage would be displaying a map of whole country with all places (from all categories).
2. If user selects one specific category, there will still be displaying a map of whole country, but only places from selected category.

Is this possible? In the case of yes, what should I do to push the map to work like this?
