Display content only if variable is provided

    Yes, by making it a PHP snippet you can achieve that. Taking the snippet you posted, and changing it to this, should work:

    echo "<div>Some text.";
if ("{variable}" != "") {
    echo "<span>And here's my {variable}</span>";
}
echo "</div>";
