    I’m looking for help converting a large ExpressionEngine blog to WordPress. I haven’t been able to find much help through search engines and am hopeing someone out there has done this successfully and has a resource for me.

    you probably are not going to find anything here .. you might want to look over at the forums at http://www.pmachine.com ..

    by the way, i really like EE .. too bad it is not as easy as the WP interface ..

    Well, developers usually do NOT offer easy tools for abandoning their script 😉 – so I guess no help over there at pmachine.

    At this moment there isn’t any import tool for EE, not even a working one for pmachine. The only thing you can try, wassimk, to import by the rss feeds.

    Why anyone would exchange EE for WordPress is beyond me. It is easy to configure, easy to work with, has a great support system, the forum is the best, and is way easier to configure than wordpress.
    Each to their own 🙂
