Posts are not showing up

I am very new to blogging in general and very new to wordpress. This is the second time this has happened to me. Earlier today, I made a post and when I went to my home page only half of the post was there. I looked for solutions on the web, did a lot of tinkering and I finally ended up just copying the html and deleting the post and then made a new post. But, now it has happened again.

But, there is nothing there. I right-clicked on the page and clicked on view page source and, frankly, that’s a lot of code. And, I don’t see my article at all. Do I just have too many plug ins?
Obviously, I am doing something very wrong. The post is fine in my admin area but when i try to “preview changes” I get the not found thing, also. Can anyone help me or am I just too noob?
