Post-hacking question

Hello Everyone

I have a question I need a little advice with. My hosting company got hit by a hacker using a brute force bot which hit lots of us with wordpress installations. Now the company said I would have to do a rebuild from scratch but I found the hackers code inside the database for my blog.

I have cleaned the code out and secured the database, I have also reinstalled a clean version of Suffusion just to be safe. The site is back up but some of the images and posts are missing. Yet the files are on the server and the database also has the posts. Seems like my blog is not in contact fully with the database as I only have partial content on the blog. Any ideas or poss solutions thanks in advance.
