I am trying to separate my articles, columns, and ezines so they are clickable from two separate pages on my site. Articles and columns accessible from my home page only and ezines accessible from my blog page. All of them currently reside on a page called “Free Articles”. What is the best way to set this up?

  • Create different categories and assign each group of content to a particular category. You can then pick which of the categories to feature on your your home page. This plugin allows you to redirect categories/posts to a particular page.Eg you can create a page and call it blog, and redirect category containing your blog content to this page.

sorry here is the plugin link. http://wordpress.org/plugins/posts-in-page/

Well, The site and it’s pages weren’t setup so that this fix worked exactly as outlined, but eventually I was able to play with Custom Sidebars, and by adding a new menu to a new sidebar get the result I wanted.

    Tahnk you for your help.

So…I have created a new menu and a new sidebar for my blog page – (I don’t want all the items on the Homepage sidebar to show on the blog sidebar)…here’s the problem – I added a widget on the blog page sidebar allowing readers to click on a category in order to sort the blog posts by a categories – however when you click on the category it takes the sidebar back to the primary sidebar (from homepage, while still remaining on the Blog page). How can I get the blog page sidebar to stay when a category is clicked on?
