Post Defaults To Original After Editing

My blog has this real nasty habit that is driving me crazy! I create a new post and publish it. I then go back to edit the post and re-save it. Now, if later on I go back again, the second edit is gone! I am back to editing the original so any errors or updates are back and get republished.

After I have it all set and edited (again), it seems to revert back to original any time I aprove a comment for the entry. I have even gone in and edited inside the MySQL database in my hosting companies control panel.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on and how I can fix this. I have edited todays entry seven times now and there is an error currently that just isn’t worth fixing with all this effor.
