I want to create a series of posts for our site administrators so that they can post things they have done on the site, changes, problems resolved. However, I don’t want other users to see these posts or even know they are there.

Through the category I can restrict them to administrators but the title of the post is still listed in the blog. I don’t want that to appear for anyone but the administrators.

None of the plugins I’ve tried seem to solve this.

    Thank you.

I may have solved this on my own by looking at some pretty old posts in the forum.

I mark the posts as ‘Private’ and include them in the category ‘Administrator Record’. Initial testing indicates that this will hide them from subscribers while allowing administrators to see them and even aggregate them by clicking on the category name at the bottom of the post.

Unless you’re doing something else to restrict those posts, they will be viewable by anyone who is logged into your site – even as subscribers.

My ‘Private’ solution appears to work. That hides the posts from everyone except the administrators. When I login with a subscriber account the Administrator Record/Private posts are not there.
