    I would like to create a site using wordpress that is mainly made up of pages instead of posts so it would have like on the left hand side

    MENU

    Page1
    page2
    Page3
    page3

    BUT how do i have one PERMANENT HOMEPAGE? like INDEX page the first page people see when they arrive.. i want it to be the same.. Basically i dont wish to use posts, is there a way to do that.. check this out..

    this ladies site http://www.raisingsmallsouls.com/ is a wordpress blog and her HOMEPAGE never changes.. how do i do that?

    plus has anyone seen a template like that.. 3 columns with top space for ad and banner
