    Try setting the urls back with one of these methods:
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL

    “wp-login.php” is usually not a part of these urls though.

    Thankyou, I have changed the URL in the data base via phpMyAdmin without result. I added /wp-admin to both the home & siteurl areas. I guess I am not 100% sure what the exact code should be. My site is still in building mode, does that effect the structure of the code. And then secondly, should they both be the same.

    As stated in the article:

    The “Home” setting is the address you want people to type in their browser to reach your WordPress blog.
    The “Site URL” setting is the address where your WordPress core files reside.

    Don’t add /wp-admin after the urls.

    Try it with the ‘function.php’ method.
