Jetpack Statistics

Hi
I transferred my blog over to wordpress.org about 3 weeks ago.
I’ve noticed that the statistics include every time I look at a page within my site? Once it’s published if I keep going in to check it, it’s chalking these up as individual hits.
I’m guessing this is not supposed to happen?
Any ideas?
