    @angelo_nwl: Thanks but I’m not able to understand exactly what to do. I wish to know if it’s possible to modify the code somewhere in order to exclude past events from the slider, but please refer explicitly to the code of the smoothslider plugin.

    The code that’s in the thread that @angelo_nwl posted is an example of how to filter the output of shortcodes – which is what you’d need to do.

    Have you tried asking Smoothslider support directly? They might have an example you can use.
